Chani Weerasinghe, Co-Educator

Hi, my name is Chani. I’m a Diploma Qualified Educator and have been a co-educator at Gellibrand Crescent Kindergarten since 2016. It’s a privilege to be part of such a dedicated teaching team, alongside a wonderful community.

Programs at Gellibrand Crescent Kindergarten are designed to build and grow characteristics such as independence and confidence within every child. I believe Early Childhood education is a significant part of a child’s life, seeing them thrive and have fun is the most rewarding aspect of being an educator. I commit to supporting and providing compassion to every child. I love interacting with the little ones, they are so fun.

On a personal level, I’m married and have two beautiful girls. I enjoy reading, music, and travelling with my family. My passion is art and creating decorative and delicious cakes.
