How to Apply
Each NDCKA service utilises the The City of Darebin Kindergarten Centralised Waiting List.
Applications for both the 3 year old and 4 year old kindergarten programs are open from 1 March in the year prior to your child’s commencement. Applications can be made with the Kindergarten and Childcare Registration System Team:

Each year during the application period each service will hold open evenings where you are welcome to walk through the service and meet the teacher in order for you to learn more about our kindergartens and the program we offer. We are also happy to take you on a tour of the kindergarten by arrangement.
When you apply through the Kindergarten Centralised Waiting List you will need to state your preferred kindergarten/s. You will then be notified by the council by late August as to whether you have a place in the kindergarten of your choice.

Eligibility
A child must be 3 years old on or before 30 April in the year that they are to attend the 3 year old program.
